Goalkeeper Trainer

Born in Blackpool, England, Jake has been a goalkeeper since the age of 8 years old. After playing for professional clubs such as Blackpool FC, Burnley FC, Liverpool FC and Blackburn Rovers, Jake moved to the United States in 2015 on a soccer scholarship for Palm Beach Atlantic university, studying an MBA in business administration. As a member of the PBA Men’s Team he reached the NCAA finals two years in a row and won the South Region Championship. Jake has been involved in Coaching for 4 years.  He has been head coach at Cardinal Newman High School and assistant/ goalkeeper coach at Oxbridge High School. He is head goalkeeper coach at PBSA and also runs his own goalkeeping academy helping young goalkeepers gain scholarships to universities.

“My aim is to create modern day goalkeepers and to provide an environment for goalkeepers to be the best they can be. My sessions push goalkeepers both mentally and physically. I like to train at a high tempo because  I feel this is the best way to bring out the full potential of each individual.”
