On May 22nd, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a statewide order to resume all organized youth activities (including sports and summer camps) effective immediately. In light of that, the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) gave the green light for youth soccer (trainings, practices, and tryouts) to resume across the state on May 25th, in “compliance with all local government guidelines and restrictions.”
At this time, Palm Beach County and the Town of Jupiter both still have restrictions in place governing the use of all county and town parks. In keeping with this, our local return to play date is still to be determined. We await word from the Town of Jupiter and Palm Beach County on when we can expect to resume our local soccer activities, including 2020-21 competitive soccer tryouts. As soon as this information is known, we will be sure to share it on our social media accounts and on our website.
If you’re interested in being part of the #WeAreJupiterUnited family, we invite you to sign up for our 2020-21 season tryouts. The registration form can be found here. There is no obligation to join and tryouts are free.
As soon as the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) announces when tryouts can be held, we will share that information both here and on our social media accounts. In the meantime, we ask that you please register your child now so that when tryout dates are announced, he or she will be all set. Thank you for considering Jupiter United Soccer Club for your player!
Like the rest of us with soccer-loving kids, odds are your player is bouncing off the walls during the COVID-19 quarantine. Don’t let their skills stagnate or even decline. There are plenty of free resources online and on social media that can help them maintain and improve their level of play and even burn off some energy in the process! (Parents and family members–be sure to monitor your child’s use of any online resources to ensure that they’re accessing and using the web safely.)
Tommy Thompson of the San Jose Earthquakes has some great (and FREE) YouTube videos that our DOC recommends to improve soccer skills. You can find them right here!

Please join us in welcoming US Soccer Hall of Famer Tony Meola to the Jupiter United family as our new Director of Coaching. Tony comes to the club after an illustrious soccer career where he played in three World Cups as part of the USMNT and played in the MLS for many years before becoming a coach for the Jacksonville Armada. Tony brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club and we look forward to continued growth and success under his direction.
We appreciate our many sponsors for their support of our 2020 President’s Day Cup and our entire soccer program:

As a 100% volunteer-led organization, Jupiter United SC has numerous opportunities for volunteering during the course of the soccer season that require man (and woman!) power. Some examples include our President’s Day Cup tournament, field marshaling, lining the soccer fields, being part of the soccer board and more. We’d love to have you join us!
Hours spent helping at any of these events can usually be used to fill the 10 volunteer hours we ask each competitive soccer family to contribute to the club. Those families that reach 10 hours volunteered get their volunteer fee waived.
