Grasshoppers: Teams will be formed at the fields on the first day of practice.
Practices and games for ALL AGE DIVISIONS will take place at either Jupiter Community Park or Lighthouse Park;
please be sure your player has cleats, shin guards, and their own water for all practices and games.
Registration for the Fall 2020 rec season closed on September 30th. All divisions are no longer able to accept players.
Registration for our Spring rec season typically opens in mid- to late-January. The season itself will run from March through mid-May.
Regardless of whether it’s the Fall or Spring season, please know that our recreational programs depend on volunteer coaches and assistant coaches in order to run successfully so we ask you to please considering sharing your time with your child and his or her teammates. Coaching is a rewarding experience and something special you can share with your child. Not only are you helping shape young minds but you are also making a difference in our local community. If you’d like to volunteer, please click on the “Volunteer Registration” image on the JTAA homepage HERE.. You do not need to have a child in the program to volunteer as we also have community members, former players, sports enthusiasts, and others who volunteer their time as head or assistant coaches.
All coaches must undergo a mandatory background check through JTAA and through the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA), both at no cost, before they can be assigned to a team. Additional training(s) may also be required; if applicable, further information will be provided after registering.
In the 2020-21 season, we will assign players to teams based on school year calendar birthdays (shown below) as opposed to calendar year birthdays. This allows the children to play with their school-aged peers/classmates. Teams in U6 through High School typically train two nights a week on weeknights (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) and have games on Saturdays. Grasshoppers have no weeknight practices and instead have both skills and drills and small-sided games on Saturdays.
Please know that we can not accept requests for specific teams/coaches or practice nights.
