mission statement
Jupiter United Soccer Club, a division of the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association, is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to foster the physical, mental, and emotional growth and development of America's Youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition.
We feel the introductory years to playing soccer are the most pivotal and as such, we place a huge level of importance on our U6-U10 curriculum. This commitment to our younger JUSC players provides them with the foundations required to transition to a more tactical training approach from U11-U13. This eventually leads to competing at the top level from U14 and beyond.
OUR GOAL - DEVELOPMENT OVER RECRUITMENT
At JUSC we back ourselves to provide the best quality training in the county. The word ‘development’ is thrown around so much in youth soccer that it almost loses all meaning. Many clubs preach it but we can wholeheartedly state that we practice it.
We believe that if after working with a player for 2-3 seasons they are not at the level required to be part of an ‘A’ team, it is the club and the coach that has failed. We look around at the model of many other clubs in the area and see players who have been in their program for years, only to be demoted to a second or third team in favor of a better developed player recruited from outside the club. These other clubs rely so heavily on attracting players from outside of their program because in reality they have failed to develop those kids that they have been training for years.
At Jupiter United we value every player that joins our program and our coaches are totally committed to getting the very best out of each and every one of their players.
JUSC HISTORY
The JTAA was formed in 1967, with Jupiter United forming not long after. Over the many years since its inception, JUSC has been a club countless players have been proud to play for. The club’s longevity and long standing in the soccer community is testament to the quality training and playing environment that we continue to provide to our members.
